PSA AD Poster Campaign | "Smart Object" .psd Posters for Foster Care awareness
Purpose
Create a series of posters that could be used in a PSA (Public Service Announcement) print campaign for a non-profit organization.
Print ad posters must be designed within the following specifications:
• Print ad poster must be 11 inches x 17 inches (portrait orientation).
• Choose one interesting and important topic.
• Create strong visual experiments.
• This is a campaign or series of three.
• Each poster should be distinct from the other, yet similar enough to be an obvious set when side by side.
• Include the Ad Council Vector Logo.
• Posters must have a headline, tagline and/or secondary headline, logo, and URL as part of a call to action.
Note: The non-profit organization can be real or made-up.
The Ad Council
...is an American nonprofit organization that produces, distributes, and promotes public service announcements on behalf of various sponsors, including nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations, and agencies of the US government.

The Ad Council partners with advertising agencies that work pro bono to create public service advertisements on behalf of campaigns. The organization accepts requests from sponsor institutions for advertising campaigns that focus on particular social issues. To qualify, an issue must be non-partisan (though not necessarily unbiased) and have national relevance.

Organization (Chosen by the designer)
The Fredericksburg Resource Families Foster to Adopt Program
...strives to match the needs of a child with a licensed family who can best meet the individual needs of the child. Our families undergo 27 hours of PRIDE training, background checks and a home study process prior to having a child(ren) join their family.
The Poster Campaign
Each poster stands on its own but is an obvious fit in a series of three posters.
Poster 1:
PSA Poster 1 | Moses Had A Foster Family
Although Moses had a foster family, which was the most important family in Egypt, he learned to be independent of them to fulfill his destiny.
Poster 2:
PSA Poster 2 | The Ugly Duckling Had A Foster Family
This poster features the story of the Ugly Duckling. The "Duckling" would never grow into a duck, but rose above any difficulties and grew into a beautiful swan.
Poster 3:
PSA Poster 3 | Princess Aurora Had A Foster Family
A peril in Aurora's life meant she needed a foster home. Even a princess may need a temporary shelter. Her difficulties found her, after all. But with help from her parents and foster parents, she was able to overcome those difficulties.
